Parents of OGE 3rd and 4th graders: Join us on Thursday, Nov. 14th at 8:15 AM for a motivating musical performance! Following the show (or before), pick up your child's ATLAS test scores from this fall's screener and Interim tests and 4th graders' scores from last spring. Staff will be available to help you understand what these scores mean and how you can access the State parent portal throughout your student's school career to track their academic performance.
Our students had a blast on the blacktop during PE this week! They raced to grab a basketball, dribble down the court and be the first to score a bucket for their team. The kids learned basketball fundamentals while cheering on their classmates and burning some energy.
Today is Student Council Election Day at Oak Grove Elementary! Thank you to our candidates for schoolwide office for being brave and delivering great speeches to our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students. Following the schoolwide speeches, class representative candidates delivered speeches in class. Voting followed. We thank Ms. Peoples, Teacher Librarian, for making our election such as success. Thank you to parents for their support as well. The future is in good hands, no matter the result. We will post results later this evening.
