Pulaski County Counselors Association is planning a summer book drive that will directly benefit our students that may need extra support for summer literacy. We are asking families to donate gently used books now through May 12 to your school counseling office. Books of any genre are accepted as they will be distributed to children of all ages in our District.

OAK GROVE ELEMENTARY students were challenged to research 40 amazing women. Students used AVID skills to document their learning, briefly listing facts from these important stories of women in history. 975 facts were recorded and displayed outside our library. The two classes that documented the most facts were Mrs. McClure's class in the 3rd-5th grade category and Mrs. Barrett's first graders in K-2.

3 PCSSD Pre-K programs have earned a higher rating from Better Beginnings. All PCSSD Pre-K had achieved a Level 3, but the program recently increased to 6 levels. BAKER and LAWSON increased from a 3 to a 4. OAK GROVE increased from a 3 to a 5. #pcssdproud #equityandexcellence
