Welcome to Baker Elementary, home of the Broncos!!! Baker is a Pre-Kindergarten-5th grade campus that serves approximately 400 students. We are the only school in the Pulaski County Special School District with a focus on Economics. Student success is the goal of every staff member at Baker. We are elated that you have entrusted your children’s education to us. We will make every effort to help your child achieve academically and socially this year. It is our goal to create an enriched learning environment that engages each student.

Assistant Principal: Valencia Essel
Valencia Essel is transferring from Crystal Hill Elementary to Baker Elementary as the assistant principal, replacing Dewitt. Prior to her year as assistant principal at Crystal Hill, Essel spent four years as a classroom teacher for PCSSD. She also served as the curriculum coordinator for North Little Rock School District in the past. Essel is married with one child and is currently in the doctoral program at Arkansas Tech University.
