June is Great Outdoors Month. One popular Central Arkansas outdoor destination is the Big Dam Bridge. This bridge is the longest pedestrian bridge in North America built for that use. It connects more than 14 miles of scenic trails in Little Rock and North Little Rock.

Today is Flag Day which marks the adoption of the U.S. flag in 1777. The resolution, passed by the 2nd Continental Congress resolved that the flag include 13 stripes, alternating red & white & 13 white stars in a blue field. Stars have been added as states join the union.
