May is Better Speech and Hearing Month. During this month, the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association raises awareness about communication disorders and life-altering treatment.

This a reminder about the Maumelle "Building for the Future" meeting. This project discussion will be held on Tuesday, May 17 at 6 p.m. in the library learning center. The community is invited to come and participate in this open discussion.
2nd - 5th grade students visited UA-Little Rock on Wednesday, May 11. The field trip was part of the AVID curriculum that aims to promote college readiness for students. The students had a blast getting a full campus tour! Thank you UA-Little Rock for allowing our students to come see what college is all about.
