PCSSD has an important issue coming to voters on the November 2, 2021 ballot. We are asking voters for permission to use mills (already approved) to build and improve facilities across the District. In the Robinson feeder, we'll be able to expand Baker elementary and Robinson high to larger facilities!

The Every Kid Outdoors program offers FREE National Park Passes to 4th graders across the U.S. This pass allows free access to national parks, including the 8 in Arkansas. The annual program is provided by the National Park Service and lasts until Aug. 31. https://everykidoutdoors.gov
September is National Childhood Obesity Awareness Month. Sleep is an integral part of a healthy lifestyle. Research shows that we should all be consistent with our bedtime routines, remove electronic devices from the bedroom, and make sure the room is dark and quiet.
September is Better Breakfast Month. Studies have shown that kids who eat breakfast have higher test scores and their schoolwork can suffer because they have a harder time focusing and can become more tired without eating breakfast. #pcssdproud #equityandexcellence
This past week these 2nd Grade chefs cooked up some author’s purpose because it’s all about P.I.E. (Persuade, Inform and Entertain). After learning all about author’s purpose, they practiced reading passages and sorted them into the correct P.I.E. plate.
REMINDER! Future Senator Cheer Clinic will be held Saturday, October 2 from 9am - 12pm at the Robinson Champion Center for PreK - 7th graders.
Registration is $30 and must be complete by Sept. 25 to guarantee a shirt for the performance on October 8. However, registration will be accepted at the door on the day of the clinic.
