
June is Pride Month. Pride Month began as protests by LGBTQ people to confront discrimination in the fight for equality in the 1970s. Pride Month is an opportunity to show support and raise awareness about LGBTQ+ rights.

We're off to see the Wizard.....the wonderful Wizard of Oz!!! 2nd Grade is enjoying reading the book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Students got to come to school as an Oz character. Their costumes were wickedly wonderful!!
